  • Located underneath the inside escutcheon plate and held in place with a limiting plate and two screws.
  • When the deadbolt knob on the escutcheon plate is turned it rotates the actuator which locks the deadbolt.
  • If the deadbolt knob spins it is likely the actuator needs to be replaced.
